The BEST oven baked French Fries for a lean diet
Who doesn’t love French Fries?!
For my toddler, these are the ULTIMATE favorite snack.
Most people think French Fries are always unhealthy for you and don’t have any place in a lean diet, but that’s not true!
This recipe has become a staple in our house because it’s so easy to make and so delicious and healthy.
I know you are going to love these french fries and your entire family will too!
How to make Oven Baked French Fries:
- 4whole Yukon Gold Potatoes(approx 150g each)
- 2Tbsp avocado oil
- 1/2tsp pink himilayan salt
- 1/2tsp fresh cracked pepper
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
- Rinse and dry potatoes
- Slice potatoes into french fry shapes, put into a large bowl
- Add 2 tbsp of oil and the salt and pepper, shake the bowl to distribute the oil and spices
- Lay fries on a baking sheet in a single layer
- Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes (more time if not a convection oven)
- Once the fries are golden brown on the edges and soft in the middle they are done. Enjoy as a side dish or snack.

Sure, 25-50 minutes may seem like it takes a long time to cook, but if you start these right after your gym session you can go take a shower while they cook or do whatever other multi-tasking you want to do. The time goes super fast and before you know it you have hot fresh delicious healthy fries ready for you.
