99.5% Are One Ingredient Live Lean Approved Foods
On today’s episode of Live Lean TV, I’m sharing my healthy whole food grocery haul.
That’s right, I went grocery shopping today, and now I am back in the kitchen.
You’ll be amazed at the positive drastic changes your body will go through, when you prepare and cook your own meals at home.
Convenience foods out of a cardboard box, and restaurant foods are loaded with sodium, preservatives, and many other nasty chemicals.

This does nothing for your body other than making you feel bloated, crashing your energy, and adding belly fat.
Not cool.
So it’s time to show you exactly what I picked up during this healthy whole food grocery haul.
Live Lean Approved Healthy Grocery Food Haul
Here are the Live Lean approved foods that I picked up at the grocery store.
- Frozen Berry Blend
- I like to use frozen fruit to make protein ice cream.
- Romaine Lettuce
- I bought a bunch of romaine lettuce because it’s crunchy and great for making delicious salads filled with protein, fat, and other nutrients.
- Romaine lettuce is also a good healthy food swap since you can use it as a wrap when making chicken fajitas, rather than wraps made from grains, wheat, and gluten.
- Next time you need wraps, pick up some crispy romaine lettuce and crunch away.
- Organic Baby Spinach
- I also bought organic spinach to use in salads.
- Since I eat a lot of salad, I like to switch up the lettuce options for different crunches, textures, and flavors.
- That’s how we roll.
- Organic Baby Arugula
- Jessica was the first person to put me onto baby arugula.
- Arugula provides lots of different flavors.
- Fresh Herbs
- Dill, parsley, oregano, and mint.
- Dill is one of my favorite fresh herbs that I use a lot.
- When it comes to cooking healthy fitness foods, you must add flavor to make them taste delicious.
- A low calorie, healthy way to do that is cooking with herbs, spices, and other seasonings.
- Canned Wild Salmon
- I use this to make salmon patties.
- Bacon
- Yes, as a Live Leaner, we actually eat bacon.
- Chili powder
- Fresh garlic
- Jalapeno
- I like to keep it spicy up in here.
- Green onion
- I use green onions to add even more flavor to my meals.
- Green bell pepper
- Tomatoes
- I picked up a bunch because I have a lot of recipes that use tomatoes.
- Cucumber
- Onions
- yellow onions and red onions
- Shiitake mushrooms
- That’s right baby, we rock the shiitake.
- Avocados
- Avocados are a great source of healthy fat.
- Sometimes I will eat 1-2 avocados a day.
- Walnuts
- I like to add walnuts to pretty much every meal that I eat.
- Whole Eggs
- Whole eggs are one of my favorite protein sources.
- And yes, I eat the whole egg, including the yolk.
- Beef
- I consider grass fed beef a super food.
- Ground pork
- Ground lamb
- Ground turkey
- Chicken breast
- Of course, we have chicken breasts
- Frozen shrimp
- Capers
- I haven’t had good success with capers, but I’m going to experiment with adding these to the salmon patties.
- This will be the final test to see if I can finally like the taste of caper.
- Coconut milk
- Canned and carton coconut milk
- I like to use coconut milk when making ice cream.
- It provides so much flavor.
- Kalamata Olives
- I love adding olives to salads.
- Chicken broth
- Almond butter
- Even though almond butter is so freaking expensive, it’s just too good not to buy.
- Coconut butter
- I could just eat coconut butter right out the jar, and keep going until I reach the bottom.
- It’s “Damn That’s Good” certified.
- This is another example of something that is expensive, but too good not to buy.
- I need a coconut butter brand endorsement deal.
